Viral Immunology Lab

We study how the host innate immune system detects viral infections and determines host fate through inflammatory cell death pathways. Utilizing genome-wide CRISPR knockout screening and innate immune sensor KO mouse libraries, we identify novel sensors and dissect pathways such as PANoptosis. By translating these insights, we aim to develop next-generation therapeutics targeting innate immune pathways.
