주요 경력

I am Professor of Design, former Head and current Chair of Academic Affairs at the Department of Design, UNIST (Ulsan National Institute of Science & technology). I am also Director of the Design Thinking Research Lab. My design research interests/academic-industry collaborations include design thinking, design education and design innovation.

디자인학부 디자인 씽킹 연구실(UNIST)에서는 디자인 고유의 창의적 인지 유형으로서의 디자인 씽킹에 대한 이해를 확장하고 있습니다. 우리는 디자인 혁신, 프로세스 및 결과에 대한 이해를 탐구하고 확장하며, 혁신적인 기술을 포함한 다학제적 디자인 교육, 접근 방식 및 실천 방법을 연구합니다.
At the design thinking research lab, Department of Design, UNIST, we extend understanding design thinking as type of creative cognition unique to design. We explore and extend understanding of design innovation, process and outcome, and examine interdisciplinary design education, including disruptive technologies; approaches and practices.
