저의 연구관심은 우리 자신에 대한 지식생산이 우리가 사는 세계를 어떻게 구성해 내는가의 문제에 천착해 있습니다. 이런 지식생산과 세계인식의 중요한 방식으로서 커뮤니케이션과 미디어의 작동에 초점을 두고 있습니다. 인권과 인간가치, 디지털 미디어와 감시, 사이버네틱스, 인공지능과 자동화, 바이오의료 기술, 과학전문성과 정책, 트라우마와 정신의학 담론이 연구의 주된 주제이자 사례들이라 할 수 있습니다.
I am interested in how our inquiry of humans play a role in shaping the world we belong to. For this, my research looks at sites of communication and media in which human values are negotiated and contested. Examples of my study include human rights and human values, digital media and surveillance, cybernetics, artificial intelligence and automation, biomedical technologies, scientific expertise and policy discourse, and trauma and psychiatric discourse.
