YK Research

우리 연구실은 에너지 변환/저장 어플리케이션 및 공정 시스템을 위하여, 신소재를 개발하고 안전하고 경제적인 디바이스를 디자인하는 것에 초점을 맞추어 연구하고 있습니다. 구체적으로 저희는 크게 3가지 분야의 주제를 연구하고 있습니다. 해수를 양극 또는 전해질로 활용하는 이차 해수전지 기술, 방화소재를 활용하여 화재 원천 차단 및 열관리가 가능한 zero-fire 전지 기술, 해수로부터 Cl2, H2, NaOH 등의 유용한 자원을 추출하는 해수자원화 기술을 연구하고 있습니다.
Our lab is interested in developing novel materials and designing safe & economical devices for energy conversion/storage applications and process systems. We are researching three major topics. Rechargeable seawater battery technology utilizing seawater as an electrode or electrolyte, zero-fire batteries technology capable of blocking fire sources and thermal management, and seawater-to-resources technology that extracts useful sources such as Cl2/H2/NaOH from seawater.
